Running a rather old, stock Sig P-226, converted to double action only. Decided, rather spontaneously to head down to Universal Shooting Academy and do the steel challenge. This includes all 5 runs of this stage, including my misses. Still working on my speed vs. accuracy.

Scenario: Simulate being awakened in the night. Goal is to improve general handling skills and self discover issues associated with low light levels. It is the act of doing that you discover problems or areas that need more focused practice. Laser snapcaps were used in this training session.

Multiple threat, start with car in gear and seat belt fastened. deal with threat through passenger front and rear windows, put vehicle in park and deal with the seat belt, then deal with 5 additional threats after exiting vehicle. oh and, don’t shoot your passenger or the car.
